THE FUNCTION OF THE SOUTH COAST REGIONAL CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE
The South Coast Regional Chambers of Commerce is a professional association of business people. It gathers facts and acts on those according to the wishes of its members. It is an association of the business community whose prime function is to advance the civic, commercial and industrial interests of the area where it is established. The chamber is a lobby group able to present and defend the views of the business community to Government, Local, State and Federal Governments as well as other authorities and organisations.

MISSION STATEMENT
The South Coast Regional Chamber of Commerce exists;

To represent regional business and communities by promoting the region, stimulating economic growth, effectively lobbying the three tiers of Government and advocating a buy local policy. In addition, provide a wide range of services to members including acting as a conduit to the business community, providing networking opportunities and being a source for information, advice, referral and professional support.
